slightly wonky

We were asked to make/buy a garment that we would alter as an exploration of our identity. I made the grey tunic as my base. It’s very neutral, simple, clean. Laura called it, “Bauhaus”! I decided to look at the facades of buildings as 2D patterns…thinking of them more as fabric. I decided to further the textile transformation of the facades by weaving the different images together, in a sort of unraveling patchwork. Architecture=facade=pattern=fabric=woven=patchwork
