My first felting experiment…hmmm…needs work. I can see how this might become addictive, though. You can just keep throwing stuff on it and see what happens. I don’t think that you can take something off if you change your mind, though. Not a big deal, as I don’t expect this to be on the cover of any magazine…ever.

Ooo, up close I wasn’t so sure but seeing the whole picture, or felted item, I LOVE it! How cool to see you translated into textiles.

Again, Kandinsky, the Russian constructivists, and, naturally , the Bauhaus, Moholy-Nagy. Your aesthetic, so modernist! And remember, at the Bauhaus, no distinction was made between fine art and craft- however, women weren’t allowed to study architectue!!!! Think about that…keep going, frame this piece, really, and keep going! You are an inspiration.
Comment by Laura sapelly October 31, 2010 @ 5:57 pmThanks for all of the kind thoughts! I’m incorporating this piece into a larger piece, with similar panels. I’m just trying to think about how I want to assemble them…
